Each
incoming 6th grade student is expected to read a minimum of 3 books
this summer. Our expectation is that incoming 6th graders will make
mature choices regarding grade appropriate material. Although students
are invited to read any three books of their choosing, we recognize that
having some recommendations from school may serve helpful. In that
regard, we have included:
(1) Recommended Author List for Each Grade
(2) “The Summer Reading List that Speaks to the Middle School Experience”
(3) The 2017-18 Chester County Reading Olympics Middle School Booklist
